How to Choose Cabinet and Door Hardware

Handles, knobs and pulls are small details that change how a whole room looks and feels. Swapping them is one of the cheapest, highest-impact upgrades you can make.

Match the finish to your space

• Matte black — modern and bold; great against white or wood.
• Brushed nickel — soft, versatile and hides fingerprints.
• Oil-rubbed bronze & antique brass — warm, classic, characterful.

Knobs vs pulls

• Knobs suit doors and small drawers; simple and neat.
• Pulls / bar handles are easier to grip — better for big drawers and kitchens.
• A common look mixes knobs on doors with pulls on drawers.

Measure before you buy

For pulls, measure the hole centre-to-centre distance (e.g. 128 mm) so new handles line up with existing holes. For door hardware, check the door thickness and backset.
